Georgian Bow-Fronted Mahogany Chest Of Drawers

A Lovely Georgian mahogany bow-fronted chest of drawers. This piece came into our old Bushey workshop for a full restoration. As can be seen in the before photo, the chest of drawers had been fitted with some castors, which were completely incorrect for this piece of furniture, not only structurally, but aesthetically. The casters where removed as well as repairs to the drawer runners. Missing drawer stops were replaced and veneer repairs carried out where needed to the top. The whole piece was then French polished.
